Was October the Best Month For Sports?

I’ve heard recent opinions that October was actually the best month for sports. The reasons given for this by TV sports experts was due to the World Series, the start of the NBA and NHL seasons, the latter stages of the College Football season and BCS discussion, and because the NFL was in full effect.

With all these reasons given, I sat back and said, “those are strong arguments as to why October was the best month — guess it’s no longer just about Halloween anymore” …
